It is through the efforts of International Programs and likeminded departments that a fully integrated international learning environment at South Carolina may be achieved.  Dedicated to advancing international education at the University of South Carolina, International Programs develops and delivers services and programs which facilitate international and American students’ engagement in international learning both in and beyond the classroom.

International Programs provides leadership and resources to the university in support of its international activities. South Carolina has a long history of international engagement dating back to the first student exchange with University of Warwick in Great Britain in the 70’s. It is the work and leadership International Programs contributes to the university’s history that further enriches South Carolina with internationally focused opportunities that engage students in global learning, support scholarly activities, and connect the university community to the rest of the world.
